Edit of the Elden Ring box art Contributed by Rubiyat Siddique (22201945) On the 8th of December George R.R Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki's critically acclaimed collaboration Elden Ring won the "Game of the Year" (GOTY) award at The Game Awards 2022 (TGA 2022). It was a momentous occasion. After much speculation from  Souls-borne  and Sony fans regarding which game is more deserving God of War: Ragnarok or Elden Ring, Miyazaki had scored another GOTY  (1st being Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice)  . All the while unaware to anyone but a select few with great experience in such gaming industry events there was trouble brewing in their midst. In the background, the eagle eyed noticed a random kid walking up to the stage. He snuck up alongside the staff from FromSoftware (developers of Elden Ring), patting them a good job and remained in the background of the livestream feed. To the Japanese developers, the kid was TGA staff while to the TGA staff, he was with FromSoftware. He h...

Human Rights : A Joke

Image
'' Human Rights : A Joke '' by Kuldip Ghosh and Rubayet Ferdous Violation of human rights is now a hot topic in Bangladesh. But despite the fact that this breach involves government management, nobody has yet spoken out in opposition. So, if anyone, even human rights organization come to protest against them, the Police, RAB and other government administrative sectors may put them down forever.  We, the common people, are the ones who endure this agony the most, and no one will step up to assist us because the principal offenders are those who ought to have stood by our sides. The government has to take serious actions against them as soon as possible. Without any proof, the police and RAB abduct regular individuals and never let them return home. No one knows what they do to them. If someone truly wants justice, they will kill the victim and set up the case such that the victim is made out to be the primary offender. Such violation has to be stopped. Innocent people ar...

Sekiro: An Insight of Feudal Japanese Era in Video Games

Sekiro: An Insight of Feudal Japanese Era in Video Games 'Hesitation is defeat' The words still flow through my head like the swift water fountains from Fountainhead Palace. 'Sekiro : Shadows Die Twice', A game that won many awards including the Game of the Year Award of 2019,  was not just a simple video game, but an experience. Sekiro played it differently when it comes to 'Soulsborne' games which usually refers to Miyazaki's some of the popular yet difficult games. Many people complain how hard it gets to adapt just to beat some of the first areas in his game. While the games are somewhat difficult, beating the games feels refreshing and rewarding. Miyazaki, the director of 'Soulsborne' games, started with 'Demons Soul' and slowly his creativity evolved within each game he made. Sekiro, however, has a less in-depth combat and accessory system, there is an actual protagonist now because past titles did not have and finally, the theme is s...
